Introduction

This work product documents the Software Architecture. Therefore, it must provide elements required to adequately express the architecture of the SoS, such as architectural viewpoints and views, or architectural prototypes. Moreover, it can be made with different representation techniques (informal, semi-formal, and formal) and must cover the different views (e.g., structural and behavioral) to provide a better understanding of the system architecture to both stakeholders and developers.

The benefits of the work product are:

• Explicit express the software archtiecture
• Support architectural evaluation
• Convey the SoS software architecture to Stakeholders

Essential Qualities

1. It must include all the relevant views in the context of each SoS
2. Allow the understanding of Emergent Behaviors

Evaluation Methods

The evaluation of SoS software architecture is the way to evaluate also its documentation
